Told from dual first person perspectives (Noah and Heather) WHEN AUGUST ENDS follows the building relationship between twenty year old, waitress/college student Heather Chadwick. and thirty-four year old photographer Noah Cavallari. Noah Cavallari is taking some time off from his busy photography business, and rented a boathouse up in New Hampshire, on Lake Winipessaukee.
