REVIEW:BLACK KNIGHT is the fourth and final instalment in Aleatha Romig’s contemporary, adult SIN erotic, romantic suspense series. This is the continuing story of forty-one year old, billionaire businessman Donavan Sherman, and twenty-four year old, pharmaceutical heiress Julia McGrath. BLACK KNIGHT should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book three GOLD LUST.

NOTE: There is a prequel novella -WHITE RIBBON -that was first released as part of the I HAVE LIVED, AND I HAVE LOVED anthology. Depending upon your copy of book one RED SIN, it may or may not contain the introductory story line. If you have not read the previous instalments, there may be spoilers in my review.

SOME BACKGROUND: Weeks before her wedding to childhood friend Skylar Butler, Julia would discover a double betrayal from her fiance and her best friend. Told from dual first person perspectives (Donavan and Julia) BLACK KNIGHT picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book three in which Julia and Donavan are preparing for their wedding but an uninvited guest is determined to stop the wedding before it begins. Lives will be threatened, minds will fracture, financial holdings are at risk of imploding, and survival is paramount in a world of big business and love. The past returns seeking revenge against our story line hero, a past that refuses to let go until the very end. Julia and Donavan’s relationship continues to grow; blossoming into a fairy tale where rescuing the princess is but a prelude to saving the King.
