REVIEW: WILDER MIND by Taryn Quinn (Taryn Elliott / Cari Quinn) is part of the multi-author WILD IRISH Kindle Worlds Novella series, as well as the author’s WILDER ROCK series set in the world of the OBLIVION series. This is keyboardist for the rock band Wilder Mind Myles Vaughn, and bar waitress/bookkeeper Felicity Hudson’s storyline. WILDER MIND can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line in the Wilder Rock series is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading ROCKSTAR DADDY for Myles’ backstory and the events leading up to his breakup with the band.

Told from dual first person points of view (Myles and Felicity) WILDER MIND is a second chance story line between keyboardist for the rock band Wilder Mind Myles Vaughn, and bar waitress/bookkeeper Felicity Hudson. Two years earlier, Myles walked out of Felicity’s life as he and his band mates for Wilder Mind headed out on tour. Fast forward to present day wherein Myles has quit the band, and returned home to Phoenix, Arizona in an attempt to rekindle the relationship with the woman he has always loved. What ensues are Myles attempts to win back Felicity Hudson, and the potential fall-out as Felicity has other plans that currently do not include the man that destroyed her heart.

WILDER MIND is a fast paced, second chance romance between two people whose lives went in opposite directions. Felicity had always hoped that Myles would invite her out on the tour; Myles continued to struggle with the loss of his best friend so much so that is affected his relationship with the guys in the band. Myles had lost his muse, and his daily battle with stardom and success. Returning to Phoenix our hero had plans to settle down but first he had to make one last attempt to woo the woman he had always loved. The premise is energetic; the romance is fated; the characters are familiar, colorful and full of life. WILDER MIND: Wild Irish is an erotic, passionate and emotional story line.
