ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 5, 2023

I spent the first sixteen years of my life being told I was nothing, and I would’ve kept believing it if she hadn’t come around.

We were a family, and for two whole years, it was us against the world. I kept her safe from the devil, and she kept a hold on my will to live.

Then the day came when I had to leave her behind. It nearly killed me, and I’m sure she still hates me for it, but I had no choice. The devil demanded it.

Armed with the confidence she gave me, I started a new life. Thirteen years later, I’m the VP of the Sons of Erebus, launching a luxury brothel that’ll make my club some serious coin and give us the future we deserve.

I never forgot her, but I didn’t go looking either.

And I sure as hell never expected to see her walking through the doors at The Honey Pot Ranch looking for a job. But when our eyes meet, I know.

It’s her.

The little girl from my past is all grown up. Her mile-long legs, blonde hair, and skimpy outfit clinging to her tight body have me feeling things I shouldn’t.

When I realize why she’s here, fury burns through me.

My stepsister will not be spreading her legs for anyone but me.

REVIEW:RIGGER’S MISTAKE is the first instalment in Misty Walker’s contemporary, adult SONS OF EREBUS MC : RENO NV dark, erotic, MC romance focusing on the members of the Sons of Erebus MC. This is thirty-one year old, club VP Colin ‘Rigger’ Brown, and twenty-one year old, waitress Navy ‘Vivi’ Kennedy’s story line.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there WILL be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Rigger and Navy) RIGGER’S MISTAKE focuses on the building relationship between Rigger Brown and Navy Kennedy. Fifteen years earlier, Vivi Kennedy and her mother Laura moved in with Rigger and his father Ray Brown, unaware of the true extent of Ray Brown’s madness. Having endured years of abuse at the hands of his father, Rigger walked away leaving Vivi behind. Fast forward to present day, wherein Rigger and the Sons of Erebus MC are about to open The Honey Pot, a high-end brothel, a brothel to which Navy aka Vivi Kennedy is about to apply. Desperate for money to protect her mother, Navy Kennedy applies to work at the Sons of Erebus brothel but Rigger refuses to allow the young girl he knew as Vivi to earn money through $ex, offering Navy a position as assistant to the madam but all does not go according to plan when Navy’s mother refuses to walk, instead leaving herself in a vulnerable position as Ray’s ongoing punching bag. Meanwhile, the local mob has plans for Rigger’s father Ray, and the Sons of Erebus MC‘s hands are tied when Rigger demands vengeance for the years of abuse. What ensues is the slow building relationship between Rigger and Navy, and the potential fall-out as years of physical abuse continue to emotionally affect our story line couple.

The relationship between Rigger and Navy begins as temporary step-siblings but Rigger leaves following years of abuse. Having promised ‘Vivi’ he would always protect, Rigger struggles with his guilt when the woman with whom he would fall in love reveals the truth about the years of abuse she suffered at the hands of his father.Desperate to prove she is worthy of love, Rigger claims Navy as his own in the face of the ongoing betrayal of his father Ray Brown. The $ex scenes between Rigger and Navy and passionate and intimate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and captivating secondary and supporting characters including the members of the Sons of Erebus MC, the Costa crime family, the workers at the Honey Pot brothel, as well as Rigger’s father Ray, and Navy’s long suffering mother Laura Kennedy.

RIGGER’S MISTAKE is a dramatic story of abuse and control, power and vengeance, forgiveness, acceptance and love. The premise is dark, gritty, raw and heart breaking; the romance is provocative; the characters are broken, struggling and determined.

Heed my trigger warnings as to the assaults and abuse.
