When life gives you lemons, grab some tequila.

I won’t let a man hold me back or rule my life. I am an independent woman and when things spiral out of control I don’t have to sit here crying. Instead, I take a trip to visit my friends Kaiya and Storm in Gypsy Falls.

What I never expected is to find what I have been missing my entire life.

The men of the Gypsy Bastards MC are not what I was expecting, and I quickly find myself falling into their rag-tag family.

Now, I only hope I can keep them.

REVIEW: THE BEAST is the fourth instalment in Jade Marshall’s contemporary, adult, GYPSY B*STARDS dark, erotic, MC romance series. This is Kelly aka Beast, and Irene’s story line. THE BEAST can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers. There is a slight cross over with the characters from the author’s Cammareri series.

Told from dual first person perspectives ( Irene and Beast) THE BEAST follows in the wake of the assault against our story line heroine. Packing up, moving out, Irene heads to her friend in Gypsy Falls, where she will meet her future in the guise of MC member Beast. From the outset, Irene is an independent woman who is struggling to ask or accept any help including from the man with whom Irene will fall in love. Beast’s attraction to Irene is immediate and intense but Irene’s issues of trust have built an impenetrable wall that even Beast struggles to climb or overcome. When Irene’s past returns, the Gypsy B*stards claim Irene as their own, and our heroine will find her happily ever after with our story line hero. What ensues is the building relationship between our story line couple, and the potential fall out as Irene’s need for independence threatens her own safety and the safety of everyone involved.

The world building focuses on Beast’s need to claim the woman with whom he is falling in love, and Irene’s determination to remain independent and strong but all does not go according to plan when the past refuses to let go, targeting our story line heroine.

The relationship between Beast and Irene begins as acquaintance and friends when Irene seeks shelter with the Gypsy B*stards MC. Beast sees something, suspects all is not well in Irene’s life, and our hero is determined to prove he is worthy of her love. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate .

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we met in previous instalments: Club president Pope and Storm; Wolf and Hadley, the return of Sparrow; Viking, Doc, Mad Dog and Kaiya, Justice, Trinity, as well as Severu, Alceu and Preacher (Cammareri series).

THE BEAST is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, madness and obsession, family and friendships, relationships and love. The fast paced premise is dramatic and intense; the romance guarded yet building; the characters are desperate and animated. THE BEAST ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
