A wounded biker with a checkered past. A feisty dancer with a secret. An unexpected love that could destroy them both.

I was born a monster.
Seven feet tall with fists the size of balloons and an even bigger…boot size.
I’m a demon in the ring and a devil between the sheets.
But even I’m no match for her. The demoness with the bright emerald eyes and hair the color of snow.
She’s everything I’ve run from my whole sorry life and the only thing I’m afraid of, so why the hell do I find myself on her doorstep time and time again?

I’m not a good man. She should run as far as possible from me.
After doing time for a crime I didn’t commit, I took my revenge on those responsible.
It was brutal. It was bloody. It was satisfying.
Now she wants me to do the same thing for her.
But she isn’t being completely honest with me.
And when I find out the truth, there’ll be consequences for us all to pay.

Ares is book three in the Kings of Mayhem MC Tennessee series but can be read as a standalone. It features two emotionally wounded main characters, lots of red-hot chemistry, a twist you won’t see coming—throw in some crazed serial killers, and you’ve got a scorching romantic suspense

REVIEW: ARES is the third instalment in Penny Dee’s contemporary, adult THE KINGS OF MAYHEM MC TENNESSEE erotic, MC romance series- -a spin off from the author’s Kings Of Mayhem MC. This is Sargent at Arms Ares Salvatore, and exotic dancer Aurora ‘Rory Jones’ Murphy’s story line. ARES can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Rory and Ares) using present day and memories from the past ARES follows Rory Jones when she comes to Flintlock, Tennessee in search of our story line hero. Rory is well aware of Ares reputation, and she wants to hire Ares for his skills as a killer. Our hero served nine years for a murder he did not commit, and in the fall-out Ares was contracted as an assassin and a killer until the Kings Of Mayhem took him in as one of their own but Ares past has caught up with our hero, and someone is hoping for vengeance against our story line hero. Rory never expected to fall for the man they call ‘Ares the Giant ‘ but the heart wants something the head knows is wrong. Meanwhile, a serial killer is murdering in the name of the ‘seven deadly sins’, and the killings are hitting too close to home. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Rory and Ares, and the potential fall-out when the truth is revealed, and a killer sets their sights on our story line couple.

Rory Jones wants revenge for the murder of someone she loved but falling for Ares was never on her radar. Ares is immediately drawn to Rory like a moth to a flame but Ares suspects Rory isn’t telling the truth, and in this, he finds himself struggling to let go of his heart. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including Jack and Bronte Dillinger (JACK 1), Doc (Doc #2), Paw, Dakota Joe, Shooter, Alchemy, Loki, Bam, Gabe,Dolly, Cinnamon, Sheriff Pinkwater, Devil’s Steed MC president Jethro, and Rory’s mother and her fiancé Connor. The requisite evil has many faces.

ARES is a detailed and complex story of conflict and betrayal, murder and vengeance, secrets and lies, forgiveness and love. The premise is twisted and haunting; the romance is provocative and seductive; the characters are animated and edgy.
