A Birthday Poem for Alyssa Day

A few months ago, I wrote a poem, to honor author Alyssa Day (featuring her Warriors of Poseidon) on her birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALYSSA DAY

Alyssa had a birthday wish.
She wanted just one thing.
For Conlan to be crowned at once,
And all to call him king.

Erin lit the birthday candle,
A witch of mighty power.
But Ven was hoping for a dance,
By twelve, the witching hour.

Lord Justice had a gift or two,
And Keely brought the cake.
She noted how the gathered few,
Were waiting by the lake.

Bastion called, “She’s coming home…
All hide, around the castle.”
Some tumbled through the kitchen door,
Kat yelled,” Oh no, who broke the vassel?”

Alaric blessed the chosen race,
But Quinn refused to hide.
Conlan grabbed the Trident spear,
And Riley beamed with pride.

“Alyssa’s here, she’s on the walk.”
Grace whispered to the hall.
Alexios stood, by her side,
All male.. .so big and tall.

“Atlantis Rules”, they shouted out.
As Brennan hit the lights.
Tiernan laughed, her lover moved,
She sighed…”Tonight’s the night.”

Fiona ducked as Christophe waved,
His arms, all in a flurry.
“All quiet now, Alyssa’s home.”
Some laughed, but no one worried.

Denal looked out, he couldn’t see,
Who trailed along the walk.
Serai and Daniel both agreed,
Perhaps it’s time to talk.

Jack was first, he called her name.
“Alyssa, welcome home.”
Your friends are here, to wish you well,
And greetings with this poem.

It took some time, we wrote this down,
We tried in every way.
From your friends at Bodice Rippers….now
HAPPY BIRTHDAY….ALYSSA DAY.

Haven by the Sea

Haven by the Sea

A poem based on the Drake Sisters novels by Christine Feehan

Christine Feehan had a thought, an idea that flew with wings.
To write a book, about the sea. Each story she would sing.

Seven sisters tell the tale, each one a special power.
Of love, of hate, of shattered dreams. Behold, the witching hour.

A house as strong as gilded steel, to protect the lives within.
A prophecy of fated love, each sister, she would win.

The gates will open, with each sound, as lover’s hearts are freed.
To find the one, who’d cherish each, at the Haven by the sea.

Sarah has a secret kept. Deep shadows haunt her past.
Damon hides a guilt, so dark, but now the die is cast.

Kate is writing, working hard, the mill did call her name.
But Matt has stolen, Katie’s heart. He wants to play her game.

Abby loved a Russian man. The dolphins she could tame.
But Aleksander knew his life, would never be the same.

Libby healed a broken man. She also healed his heart.
Ty awakened, love renewed. The pair would never part.

Jonas knew he found his mate, with Hannah brave and strong.
She touched a part deep in his soul. Their love was never wrong.

Joley knew within her heart, that Ilya was her love.
Magic sings deep in her veins, a blessing from above.

Elle is missing. Jackson knew, he thought he’d lost his mind.
The faith he had, above all else. The love he hoped to find.

Rikki dreamed of burning nights, of sorrow and of pain.
Her love for Lev grew stronger still, not tempered by the rain.

Judith painted colors bold. A secret she did hide.
Stefan needed Judith’s love, to keep his soul alive.

When lovers meet, each whispered sigh, is heard across the sea.
A story told, on winds that cry, their souls are finally free.

The Daughters of the Glen

The Daughters of the Glen

A poem based on the novels by Melissa Mayhue

Melissa Mayhue dreamed a book
The Fae had filled her thoughts.
Of scattered worlds, from then and now,
A world, she blessed with Scots.

Connor was the first to seek,
An otherworldly trek.
The maiden Cate, was his to meet,
A love he’d not forget.

Sarah loved the written word,
To Scotland she was bound.
But Ian captured Sarah’s heart,
Their love, at long last, found.

Ramos gathered thoughts of good,
But Reynard tempted fate.
Mairi knew she found a love,
With Ramos, as her mate.

Caden searched, his brother gone,
The laird was missing too.
The Fae had plans for Ellie now,
For Caden-love renewed.

Jesse knew, his one true love,
Was Fae, so clean and pure.
And Destiny was by his side,
With hope, to reassure.

Robert’s life was waning fast,
A cure he needed now.
His guilt did cause, a shattered sense,
Of time, a broken vow.

Isa grew, so brave and strong,
Her power was foretold.
And Robert feared, he’d lost his chance,
But love had taken hold.

Andrew saved a maiden Fae,
Her secrets, she did hide.
But Leah craved his gentle touch,
She travelled by his side.

Abby wished for just one thing,
A soul mate, she would love.
But Colin’s cursed, to never know,
His woman’s gentle touch.

The Highlander’s of Scotland yore,
The women and the men.
Have found their lives, their love, their souls,
In The Daughter’s of the Glen.

Carpathian Love Song-Poem

Carpathian Love Song

A poem based on the characters from Christine Feehan’s Dark Series

The Carpathian male has but one mate to find,
Before he greets the dawn.
The love of a woman, his destiny awaits.
Their hearts are never wrong.

He hears the sound of her voice in his head,
But he knows not what will be.
His colors returned. His emotions are raw,
Now he feels. His heart is free.

Mikhail sought out Raven. Jacques took from Shea,
Their lives are now but one.
Aiden saved Alex, from a vampire’s rage,
Their song of love is sung.

Gregori, the Dark One, was nearing the end,
His need for Savannah was true.
Julian feared loving his beautiful mate,
But Desari ‘s gift brought him through.

Tempest taught Darius to live, love and laugh.
The need for his lifemate was real.
And Barack’s claim on Syndil was tempered with love,
For he knew all along, he could feel.

Francesca and Gabriel walked alone throughout time.
Neither one knew the other existed.
Lucien stopped running, when Jaxon found strength.
And his love, she no longer resisted.

Corinne was the woman, who stole Dayan’s heart,
And her daughter was his to behold.
Byron breathed life with Antoinetta, his love,
And their future-about to unfold.

Falcon saw Sara, alone on the streets,
She rescued the children at night.
Traian heard his lifemate, alone in the caves
Then Joie saved his soul and his life.

Colby loved horses, the ranch was her home,
But Rafael wanted her near.
Riordan was captured, his life on the line,
When Juliette brushed away tears.

The embers of passion, the need for revenge,
Had Natalya fearing her past.
With Vikirinoff’s love, and a book full of sins,
And a war with brother, now cast.

Destiny cried for the life she remembered.
But Nicolai held brave and strong.
Maryann saw the stranger. Her heart took a chance,
When Manolito was fallen near dawn.

Dimitri knew Skyler was his lifemate at once,
When emotions threatened his stead.
But his need for this woman, so young and so hurt,
Were altered, when time forged ahead.

Lara knew sorrow, her mother now gone,
And her father was linked to her past.
But Nicholas found love, with Lara his mate,
A friendship , a lover…at last.

Razvan and Ivory, both injured and scarred.
Their love for each other so true.
Solange walked the path through the jungles of hate,
But Dominic craved what he knew.

Zacarias was last of the De La Cruz brothers,
To find out his mate was alive.
When a vampire stole, the sound of her voice,
Margarita, knew she had to survive.

A vampire was once a Carpathian male,
So strong, so mighty and brave.
But their need for the taste of the blood from a kill,
So many that could not be saved.

Their stories continue, the Dark saga reigns,
With their loss of children and men.
Each lifemate is treasured, and loved without fear,
By their families, their lovers and friends.

A Leopard’s Walk-Poem

A LEOPARD’S WALK

A Poem based on the characters from Christine Feehan’s Leopard series

A leopard cries out for revenge,
His need. To know the truth.
He walks among their chosen race,
He wants to see the proof.

The males who walked the guided path,
Knew nature had a plan.
Too soon, the mates, of lonely men,
Entered the Han Vol Dan.

A careful touch, a gentle hand
Her life is filled with fear.
The leopard’s heart is filled with joy,
His mate, will soon be near.

Brandt knew Maggie was his mate,
His soul cried out to her.
Her future plans, to save the race
Her life was clean and pure.

The jungle was the perfect place,
And Rio took a stand.
As Rachel hid her brother’s past,
A place, her home, his land.

Jake was ruthless to the bone,
But Emma knew her man.
She loved the beast, that lived within,
Her lover’s secret plan.

Isabeau was wild and free,
Thou Connor’s heart did worry.
A child’s fear, a mother’s loss,
Their faith and love, enduring.

Drake, he needed, time to heal,
A leopard brave and true.
Saria was his perfect match,
So much, in love they grew.

A leopard walks among the trees,
His heart has taken hold.
A mate to guide him through the days,
Their life, as one, foretold.

A hand to hold, a heart to tug,
A shifter through and through
He walks the land between the suns,
His life, again, renewed.

For The Love of a Ghostwalker-Poem

For The Love of a Ghostwalker

A poem based on the characters from Christine Feehan’s Ghostwalker series.

Psychically gifted and powerfully built,
The men of the Ghostwalkers, have nothing but guilt.
Held in a lab, to torture and maim,
They talked to each other. They whispered each name.

Enhanced by a doctor, for reasons not known
These men find their captor, an evil,-home grown.
Vested by reason, and rescued by love,
Their stories of sorrow, accepted above.

Ryland and Lily, the first mated pair,
Freedom existed. Trusting was scarce.
He dreamed of a woman, tested by faith,
She drew him in deeper, he could not escape.

Nico was quiet, a man of few words,
A sniper of legend, many had heard.
Dahlia was fire. She burned with her touch,
But Nico held tightly, he loved her so much.

Gator and Iris, Flame she was called,
Wanted a life, filled with family-now stalled.
The cancer was growing, a gift from the man.
He tested her strength, her resistance, their plans.

Kaden knew sorrow, his family now dead.
At the hands of a killer, he once felt the dread.
Tansy was tracking. The game had begun.
The killers were ruthless, and nobody won.

Jack and Ken Norton are twins of pure power.
Measured resistance, above all, they will tower.
Jack found Briony, then left her behind.
Not knowing the secret, her brothers would find.

Ken masked a history, of torture and pain.
His features once handsome, now filled him with shame.
But Mari knew evil, with Whitney and Shaun,
They made no concessions, now these men are gone.

Jesse and Saber, an unlikely pair.
They knew from the outset, but nobody cared.
She killed with a power, with a delicate touch,
Jesse ‘s now walking, from Wynter’s cool rush.

Mack is an anchor. A leader of men.
Their family of orphans, protect to the end.
And Jaime has reasons, to remember her past,
With Mack as her lover, their love, it shall last.

Kane had a secret, a rose without thorns.
He knew in his heart, between worlds, he was torn.
But Rose kept a piece of the man, she did love.
Sebastian Kane Cannon, a sign from above.

Now Thorn has a story, the Ghostwallker tenth.
Her past filled with sadness, with torment and dread.
Sam knows his future. His mate by his side
Their story is told. Released in July.

The Ghostwalker saga continues today.
For Wyatt and Brian we wait, night and day.
So many with stories, that have yet to be told.
The mystery unbounds, when all is foretold.

Lifemate Call-Poem

LIFEMATE CALL

A poem based on the author–Christine Feehan’s Dark series.

My life mate calls.
He nears the end.
He sees the red.
His life will rend.

He takes my hand.
He steals my heart.
My blood I give.
Of this, I part.

This man he needs.
His life, I fill.
My heart I give.
To keep his will.

I heed his touch.
He answers me.
I feel his strength.
He knows he’s free.

My blood I give.
To keep his soul,
He claims my life.
This is my role.

My life mate calls.
To him, I go.
For love of life,
His heart is whole.

So near the end.
He answers me.
I take his hand.
I set him free.

This man he loves,
His life, his mate,
I know not how,
His love , I rate.

He waits my call.
He answers me.
I love this man.
I’ve set him free.

I Am Sad-Poem

I AM SAD

A Poem based on the characters by Sherrilyn Kenyon and an idea to write a book for Artemis.

I am sad.
Not glad am I.
Read on my friends, for reasons why.

I do not like the goddess bitch.
I do not like her, stop the trip.

I do not like her when she’s bad.
I do not like her when she’s mad.

I do not like her at her worse.
I do not want her name in verse.

I do not like this Artemis.
I do not like her much, at all
I do not wish her death, per say
But I want her out, so much, today.

Say…..Would you, could you for a while?
Read it , read it, she’s not so vile.

I would not , could not, for a while.
I would not, could not, she IS so vile.

I do not want her book at all.
I do so want the axe to fall.
I do not want her close to me.
I will not read it, don’t you see.

Acheron has freed his mind.
Nick now has, an axe to grind.
Ash is safe from Artie’s grasp.
Nick now feels, the heifer’s lash.

I do not want the heifer’s book.
I do not want to read or look.
I do not like the goddess bitch.
Why don’t the hunters, see thru Nick.

I would not, could not say her name.
I still don’t like the goddess game.
She shouldn’t be allowed to breed.
But Kat is good, and Ash is pleased.

My mind is made, my heart is full.
Ash has Tory, Nick saves souls.
The heifer goddess, speaks to me.
I do not like her, we shall see.

The time is near, her end may be.
The hunters dread, the beast they see.
But reading now, the books are great.
No book for Artie, my heart will break.
