ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 30, 2022

I’m the president of the RBMC’s Durango Chapter.
My brothers call me Rock.
I’ve spent my life devoted to this MC.
I’ve built this chapter from the ground up and I’m not about to watch everything I worked so hard to build go down in flames, but keeping this throne may cost me everything I hold dear.

I lost the love of my life years ago, and since then no woman has come close to filling the emptiness that hole has left in my heart. I’ve pretty much given up on there ever being a second chance at a love like that again for me. I’ve accepted that it just isn’t in the cards.

Until I meet one very right woman in one very wrong place at one very wrong time. I never saw this coming. Not in a million years.

REVIEW:KEEPING THE THRONE is the third instalment in Nicole James’ contemporary, adult RBMC: DURANGO, CO erotic, MC romance series, a part of the multi-authored RBMC series. This is fifty-year old, RBMC Durango President Richard ‘Rock’ Rockingham, and thirty-two year old Iron Death MC princess Evelyn. KEEPING THE THRONE can be read as a stand-alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed here necessary.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from several first perspectives including Rock and Evelyn, KEEPING THE THRONE follows the building relationship between RBMC Durango President Richard ‘Rock’ Rockingham, and thirty-two year old, Iron Death MC princess Evelyn. One year earlier, the expulsion of Evelyn’s then boyfriend Malik from the Iron Death MC placed a target on everyone involved. Evelyn became a virtual prisoner until her escape, an escaped from the man about to seek revenge. Fast forward to present day wherein Malik, now the new VP for the Vipers MC, takes aim at the Iron Death MC, and with it, the hunt for our story line heroine. To protect his daughter, Evelyn’s father and president of the Iron Death MC Duck, calls in a marker from Rock and the RBMC Durango chapter, a marker meant to protect our story line heroine but to everyone’s shock, Evelyn has ‘met’ several members in a previous encounter, an encounter no one is likely to forget very soon. Struggling with his attraction to Evelyn, Rock’s first priority is to his Club but the heart wants something it should not have, a woman he has sworn to protect with his life. What ensues is the building relationship between Rock and Evelyn, and the potential fall-out as Malik makes good on his threats, taking aim at the Iron Death MC in his hunt for revenge and the woman he calls his own.

Rock and Evelyn met previously under less than ideal circumstances but Evelyn’s reputation doesn’t fair well with the RBMC Durango chapter, a reputation earned on their first encounter. Rock is a widower who lost his wife four years earlier, and never thought he would again find love. Meeting Evelyn stirred something deep within our story line hero, something everyone suspected but Rock refused to acknowledge what was or what was meant to be. Protecting Evelyn also meant protecting Evelyn from the people within the RBMC so Rock makes a decision to pull Evelyn into his life, and into the home he once shared with someone else. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters from both Iron Death MC, the Vipers MC, as well as the RBMC Durango. We are re-introduced to Rock’s daughter Lola and her husband Memphis (Club Princess), his son Trez and Isabella (Climbing the Ranks), as well as Evelyn’s father Duck, and her ex Malik.

KEEPING THE THRONE is a story of family, relationships, friendships and loss; obsession, power and revenge. The fast paced premise is engaging and captivating ;the age-gap romance is seductive ; the characters are energetic and charismatic.
