REVIEW: Oh, what a tangled web we weave…….. RESOLUTION is the final installment in J.S.Cooper’s new adult, contemporary SWEPT AWAY romantic, suspense series focusing on Bianca London and Jakob Bradley. RESOLUTION should not be read as a stand alone as too much information and back story are revealed in the previous installments.

Told from dual first person points of view (Nicholas and Bianca), using present day, and flashbacks and memories from the past RESOLUTION is the culmination of several decades of betrayal, revenge, jealousy and infidelity between college friends, acquaintances and business partners that has traversed two generations of secrets, lies, murder and fraud . Bianca London set out to uncover the truth behind her mother’s death and her father’s fall from grace with Bradley Inc. What ensued is the building relationship between Bianca and Jakob Bradley, and the possibility that everything they knew to be true- is a lie.

RESOLUTION is a story of mystery and intrigue wrapped in a blanket of secrets and lies. A decades long vendetta against a friend, and a business acumen that focused on power and greed pushed friendships over the edge, and trust became a never ending question and concern. Bianca and Jakob, along with Rosie, Steve and Dave became the pawns is a bigger game; a game of life and death; retribution and revenge; corporate power and financial greed.

J. S. Cooper weaves an intricate tale of deceit and lies; where jealousy and revenge took precedence over family and love. There are multiple twists and turns; a couple of surprising revelations; and a finale that reveals the truth about a once tight knit group of friends who were destroyed when a woman fell in love with another man-a house of cards that crumbles upon itself while throwing the next generation over the abyss. Questions will be answered; lives will be lost; the future has already been set. Get yourself a spread sheet-you are going to need it to keep track of everyone involved.

About the book: Release Date June 8, 2015

We first met Bianca and Jakob in Illusion, stranded on a desert island and thrown into one another’s arms. But each of them has dark secrets yet to be uncovered…

In this new e-novella tied to the Swept Away series, New York Times bestselling author J.S. Cooper reveals even more surprises about the dangerous Bradley family…

Jakob knows Bianca’s appearance at the Bradley, Inc. stockholders meeting was no accident. He knows her family ruined his mother’s life. And he knows that he can’t keep his hands off her. But it’s what he doesn’t know that might put both of them in deadly danger.

•••••••••

REVIEW: MASQUERADE is the second prequel novella in J.S. Cooper’s adult, contemporary Swept Away romantic suspense series focusing on Bianca London and Jakob Bradley. Throughout the series the reader had been pulled into Bianca’s search for the truth about her mother’s death and her father’s connections to Bradley Inc.

Told from first person point of view (Jakob), MASQUERADE follows Jakob’s need to uncover the who and what of Bianca London. Bianca’s family is tied indirectly to the death of Jakob’s mother, and the Bradley connection to the London family borders the unethical and illegal. Jakob and his half brother David are convinced that Bianca is out to destroy the company name, and a plan is set into motion to extract all of the information Bianca knows about their family connections.

MASQUERADE reveals all of the players in a game that will see Bianca London caught in a game of cat and mouse-but who is the cat and how many mice are trapped in the Bradley maze. The premise follows the set up and potential take down of a woman whose life is about to unravel; where betrayal is around every corner; where the people she loves are not the people she has come to know.

••••••••••••••

REVIEW: DISILLUSIONED is the second full length installment in J.S.Cooper’s new adult, contemporary Swept Away romantic suspense trilogy focusing on Bianca London and Jakob Bradley. DISILLUSIONED begins immediately following the events of book one ILLUSION where Jakob and Bianca found themselves as ‘kidnapped castaways’ on a deserted, tropical island. As the storyline unfolded, Bianca begins to fall for Jakob but their return to reality reveals not everything or everyone is what or who they appear to be. DISILLUSIONED can NOT be read as a stand alone as it is part two of a three part trilogy where each storyline ends on a cliffhanger leading into the next installment.

Told from first person point of view (Bianca) the focus of the series follows Bianca as she tries to uncover the truth behind her mother’s death; her father’s connection to and subsequent departure from Bradley Inc; and the mysterious letters and notes adding more mystery and confusion to an already convoluted plotline.

DISILLUSIONED finds Bianca lost in a world of heartbreak, hurt and confusion. Mysterious texts, phone messages and notes lead Bianca on a journey where she will discover that no one can be trusted-not even herself because the man with whom she is falling in love quite possibly could be the man who will destroy her life. Along with Jakob, Bianca begins a search that reveals nothing is as it seemed; and everything is all a lie. Friends will become enemies; family will become strangers; the past will become a fantasy of someone else’s making.

J.S. Cooper pulls the reader into a storyline that is awash in betrayal, lies, manipulation and suspense. Trust is never earned; deceit is a part of everyday life. Plenty of partial information is revealed but in the end, we know very little about what happened and how it all went down. JS Cooper gives the reader just enough detail and background awareness that leaves you wondering where it all went wrong and how everybody is connected to one another. Clues and hints are interspersed throughout the storyline-if only our heroine was quicker on the uptake and made use of the information imparted along the way. I recognized a major twist in the story as it began to build in book one-everyone has a Judas in their life-let’s see how these relationships affect the truth. Revenge is the name of the game –a game where the reader has a front row seat.

REVIEW: CHARADE is the prequel novella to J.S Cooper’s Swept Away series focusing on Bianca London and her personal investigation into Bradley Inc. Upon her father’s death, Bianca discovered that there may have been more to her mother’s death than purely an accident. What ensues is Bianca’s attempt to get closer to the Bradley heirs in order to uncover the truth about her father’s claims; betrayal at the hands of a friend; and years of lies and fraud.

J.S. Cooper’s CHARADE reveals some of the background information leading to Bianca and David’s relationship; their eventual break up; and hints at a struggling friendship, betrayal and manipulation. There are hidden clues and forewarnings regarding the people in Bianca’s life. No one can be trusted-even a best friend named Judas turned to save his own life.

We are introduced to Bianca, David Bradley, and Bianca’s best friend Rosie. We learn a little more about what motivates Bianca, her friendship with Rosie and her attempts to seduce a member of the Bradley family.

CHARADE is a quick and revealing read with a hint of betrayal and control; deception, dishonesty and duplicity. The storyline is a build up of deceit, lies, evasion and disbelief. While Bianca is desperate to uncover the truth, she is incapable of taking her plans through to the next level.
