REVIEW:   FINDING FOREVER is the seventh full-length instalment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary adult FOUND IN OBLIVION rock star, romance series focusing on the rock band Warning Sign. FINDING FOREVER follows two couples we have met previously (Mal Shawcross and Ricki aka Elle Crandall in Raw Rhythm / Jules Reece and Tristan Eves in Triple Trouble) as they struggle to move past the ‘accident’ that is slowly pulling apart the band, and took the life of someone they loved. FINDING FOREVER should not be read as a stand alone as there is a continuing premise that addresses the fragile relationships between the members of the band. The FOUND IN OBLIVION series is a spin off from Quinn and Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION series. Several characters from LIO cross over for cohesion and continuity, as well as a quick peak into the authors’ upcoming series spin-off MADE IN OBLIVION focusing on the rock band Brooklyn Dawn.

Told from four third-person perspectives including Ricki, Mal, Jules and Tristan, FINDING FOREVER focuses on grief, forgiveness, healing and love. The once tight-knit members of Warning Sign are about to face their greatest fears as they step onto the stage for the first time in six months following the accident that all but destroyed the band and their lives. While Jules and Tristan struggle to move forward, Mal is consumed with the knowledge that he had to make a choice and not everyone is happy with the choices he made. Hoping to find his own happily ever after Mal is desperate to prove he is worthy of Elle Crandall’s love.

Juliet Reece battles the all-consuming grief of death and loss but her inability to let go is destroying her relationship with Tristan Eves, the man who is willing to sacrifice everything to keep his small family together-forever.

The friendships and relationships between the members of the band are nearing the breaking point as Jules is unable to forgive and forget, and Mal’s mood swings continue to push everyone beyond their limits. The potential to co-headline an upcoming tour forces Jules and Tristan, as well as Mal and Ricki to take a deeper look into their partnerships, to ensure everyone gets their happily ever after.

There are numerous colorful secondary and supporting characters including all of the members of the rock band Warning Sign and their significant others-Michael, Chloe, West and Lo, Ethan, Luc and Molly; Hammered’s lead singer Hunter Jordan, and his brother, security specialist Noah; Brooklyn Dawn’s Lindsey York, Jamie DuCaine and record producer Alex Nash; and several members of the band Oblivion including Simon and Margo, Nick and Lila, as well as Ricki’s best friend Teagan Daly, who is about to join Brooklyn Dawn. Lindsey and Alex’s story is next in Play Dirty, the first instalment in the authors’ new Made in Oblivion series.

FINDING FOREVER is a story of family, friendships, strength and bond. The detailed and revealing premise is realistic and energetic; the characters are tenacious, sassy, spirited and flawed. FINDING FOREVER is an inviting, passionate and emotionally satisfying story –here’s hoping for continuing updates throughout the new series.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 29, 2017

Saving her was his addiction.

When Warning Sign drummer Malachi Shawcross first saved Elle Crandall, he put her in a box in his head—do not touch. Not that she remembered him anyway. Then he joined her band, and he got to spend every night behind the kit watching her shred on her guitar.

Hating himself for wanting her.

But that was before the night the band he’d never wanted to join became his family. The night he had to make a choice to save someone, and someone else was lost.

Of course he saved Elle. He’d do it every damn time.

Though she’s filled with guilt, Elle survived—with scars. With her reason to stay clean gone, even temporarily, she’s tempted to be bad.

Oh so bad.

Until Mal’s unexpected help as she recovers turns into something else entirely. She never expected him to offer her another kind of addiction, one just as dark and dangerous as the chemicals she craves.

Him.

But with the band under siege from a threat from the past, Mal is no longer fighting to keep from falling for the one woman he shouldn’t.

He’s fighting to keep her alive.

REVIEW: RAW RHYTHM is the sixth instalment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult FOUND IN OBLIVION erotic, rock star romance series focusing on the rock band WARNING SIGN. This is Warning Sign’s drummer Malachi ‘Mal’ Shawcross, and guitarist Richelle ‘Elle’ aka Ricki Crandall’s story line. The FOUND IN OBLIVION series is a spin off from Quinn and Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION series. Several characters from LIO cross over including Nick Crandall, band manager Lila Shawcross and Ripper Records owner Donovan Lewis. You do not have to have read the original series to follow or understand the events of RAW RHYTHM although some of the events in the current time line are as of a direct result of earlier events in the original series. RAW RHYTHM can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion. Mal is the brother of Michael Shawcross (Bedded Bliss / Found In Oblivion #1), and step-son to band manager Lila Shawcross; Elle is the twin sister of Nick Crandall (Owned / Lost in Oblivion #5).

NOTE: If you have not read book five –PERFECT PITCH-there may be some spoilers in my review.

Told from several third person perspectives including Mal and Elle, RAW RHYTHM picks up immediately after the events of book five PERFECT PITCH in which an accident tore apart the rock band Warning Sign leaving our heroine struggling for her life, and grieving the loss of a close-member of their music family and crew. For three years, Malachi Shawcross has been both protector and foil to Warning Sign guitarist Richelle ‘Elle’ Crandall, a former drug addict whose rock and roll lifestyle was spiralling out of control. A deadly on-stage accident finds our heroine struggling to move forward as grief and survivor’s guilt weigh heavily on her fragile shoulders. Enter Mal Shawcross, adversary and enemy, and the man with whom Elle would fall in love. What ensues is the building romance between Mal and Elle as Mal helps our heroine through acceptance and recovery, and the potential fall out as the past comes seeking revenge against the people he believes have done him harm.

Throughout the series Mal and Elle have battled their apparent attraction and hatred towards one another as Mal continues to watch from the sidelines as the woman with whom he had fallen in love slowly destroyed what was left of her life. Elle struggled to remain clean but the rock and roll lifestyle fed the addiction that was to become the devil inside. But the accident brought everything into perspective including our couple’s sexual attraction and desire for one another. The $ex scenes are erotic, passionate, seductive and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of the members and their spouses of the rock bands Oblivion and Warning Sign; employees of Ripper Records; and Lila’s parents aka Grandma and Grandpa Ronson; and Elle’s friend Teagan.

RAW RHYTHM is the second to last instalment in the authors’ FOUND IN OBLIVION series. The romances are provocative and emotional; the characters are heartbreaking and real; the story lines are powerful and inspiring. RAW RHYTHM is a story of two people fated by circumstance pulled together by mutual grief and loss; battling the demons that all but destroyed their lives. The premise is riveting; the characters are animated; the romance is edgy and hot.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 1, 2017

A lead singer, a professor, and another lead singer walk into a bedroom…

Molly McIntire loves her career as the lead singer of the band Warning Sign. Who she does not love?

The cocky, seductive lead singer of The Grunge, rockstar Luc Moreau, who through a series of misfortunate events ends up singing with her.

In her band. On her stage. Together.

It’s like getting naked, with a microphone between them. So is there any surprise they’re tempted to hate screw each other afterward?

But someone sees them with their tempers running hot. And open-minded Professor Ethan Haywood wants them both, in every dirty, decadent way. For a night or so much more.

Except he’s not the only one who’s watching them—and the band. Their every move is being monitored, and when the lights go out, not everyone will still be standing.

Suddenly it’s not just about falling into bed for Molly, Luc, and Ethan, but falling in love when everything they know and love is in danger.

Author’s note: This book contains mènage scenes, and while the men are always focused on the woman, they also focus on each other. With and without their clothes on.

Author’s note part deux: While the romantic relationship ends in a full HEA, there are ongoing events that will not be fully explained or resolved until the next book, Raw Rhythm.

REVIEW: PERFECT PITCH is the fifth installment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult FOUND IN OBLIVION erotic, rock, romance series focusing on the members of the rock band Warning Sign. This is lead singer for the rock back The Grunge Luc Moreau, lead singer for Warning Sign Molly McIntire, and professor Ethan Haywood’s story line. The FOUND IN OBLIVION series is a spin off from Quinn and Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION series. Several characters from LIO cross over including band manager Lila Shawcross and Ripper Records owner Donovan Lewis. You do not have to have read the other series to follow or understand the events of PERFECT PITCH. Perfect Pitch can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

NOTE: PERFECT PITCH contains graphic MFM and MMF sexual situations, language and text, and may not be suitable for all readers.

Told from three third person perspectives (Luc, Molly, and Ethan) PERFECT PITCH follows the building relationship between Luc Moreau,  lead singer for the rock back The Grunge, lead singer of Warning Sign Molly McIntire, and professor Ethan Haywood. After a series of PR nightmares for Luc Moreau, and a confrontation between Molly McIntire and Ripper Records upper management, our couple find themselves pushed together to front Warning Sign, leaving The Grunge floundering to remain a viable band. Professor Ethan Haywood’s attraction to Molly McIntire has the added bonus of their mutual attraction to Molly’s new band mate Luc Moreau but keeping their ménage relationship a secret struggles in the face of overzealous paparazzi, and Molly’s need to hide the truth from Ripper Records management. What ensues is the building romance between Molly, Ethan and Luc, as Molly and Luc battle one another for professional control.

PERFECT PITCH is a sexy and sassy story line about three people who find love when they least expect it. The roller coaster of emotions is threatened by heartbreaking family history, as well as a turn of events that will leave the reader wondering what the h*ll happened and why. The ménage relationship is passionate, erotic and intense-the $ex scenes leave little to the reader’s imagination.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of the members of Warning Sign (Michael Shawcross and Chloe, Juliette, Tristan and Randy,vLauren and West, Malachi Shawcross, and Elle Crandall), The Grunge, as well as Lila Shawcross and Donovan Lewis. The world building continues to focus on the bands, the music, and the struggles to make it big in an industry where everyone believes they should be number one. Malachi and Elle’s story line is next in Raw Rhythm.

PERFECT PITCH is also a story of slow building intrigue when a series of questionable events begin to snowball in a potentially life threatening drama aimed at the members of Warning Sign. The premise is exciting, intoxicating and heartbreaking; the characters are edgy, colorful and dynamic; the romance is seductive, provocative and hot. PERFECT PITCH ends on a cliffhanger- an agonizing and painful reminder that fame comes at a cost. Keep your tissues handy, you’re going to need them.

REVIEW: BEDDED BLISS is the first installment in the contemporary, adult, erotic, romance rock series FOUND IN OBLIVION co-authored by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott. FOUND IN OBLIVION is a spin off from their LOST IN OBLIVION series and several characters from LIB and the authors’ HAMMERED series cross over and make cameo appearances for familiarity. This is lead guitarist for the upcoming rock band Warning Sign Michael Shawcross, and single mom/bartender Chloe Adams’s story line. Michael and Chloe were first introduced in Quinn and Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION series. You do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow the spin off but for back story and enjoyment I recommend reading the authors LOST IN OBLIVION series as well.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Chloe and Michael) BEDDED BLISS focuses on the relationship between single mom Chloe Adams and guitarist Michael Shawcross. Following a drunken weekend in Vegas where Chloe and Michael wake up to find themselves married to one another with no recollection or memory of what has happened, our heroine runs home only to discover that her private life is now the stuff of tabloid fodder and paparazzi nightmares. What ensues are Michael’s attempts to persuade his new wife that remaining together will be better for everyone concerned, and Chloe’s struggle to regain control of her life.

Chloe is a single mother who was once engaged to Oblivion’s former drummer Snake (William)-a man whose demons destroyed his life when he died following a tempestuous relationship with his band and eventual drug over dose leaving a pregnant and struggling Chloe on her own. Nick Crandall, guitarist for Oblivion and one time best friend of Snake, took Chloe under his wing and offered up financial support for his best friend’s girl. Snake’s son Axl is close to two years old, and Chloe’s first girls weekend in Vegas ends in a marriage to a man she knows very little about.

Michael Shawcross is the step-son of Oblivion’s band manager Lila Shawcross, and a great guitarist in his own right. Now a member of the upcoming rock band Warning Sign, Michael has a colorful history with the ladies including a bad boy reputation and an ongoing affair with a senator’s fiancé. Waking up to a new wife, and a woman that calls to his heart, Michael is determined to make the best of the situation and offers up his home and his heart to Chloe and her son.

The attraction between Chloe and Michael is immediate but our couple has known of one another for a number of years through their mutual connection to the band Oblivion and Lila Shawcross. Michael is a man determined not to follow in his parent’s disastrous relationship history, and makes every effort to ensure that his marriage to Chloe is real and forever. Chloe’s life begins to implode when the paparazzi refuse to give her the benefit of the doubt, and the harassment destroys the life she began to build. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and erotic.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several members of the rock bands Oblivion and Hammered, as well as the introduction of Warning Sign’s other musicians. There is a personality struggle within the band, and when their drummer Ryan Waters sprains his hand in a biking accident, Michael calls in a favor from his brother Malachi-a man who prefers to remain in the shadows and away from the dysfunction of the Shawcross family. We are introduced to Chloe’s friends, and sisters Jinx and Ivy Johnson, a couple of women whose own lives are turned upside down while partying in Vegas.

BEDDED BLISS is an enjoyable and fateful story with dynamic characters and a captivating romance. Quinn and Elliott vivid imaginations seamlessly blend three series together for an introductory tale that continues to look at the life and loves of an upcoming rock star. The premise is intoxicating; the characters are engaging and passionate; the romance is provocative and emotional. BEDDED BLISS is an intimate look behind the scenes, and into the life of Quinn and Elliot’s latest bad boy guitarist.

Book Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7B1K5N7vMs&feature=youtu.be

Excerpt Black and Hot Pink

Chloe moaned. Why couldn’t she move?
Had she ended up with another Johnson sleeping with her again? Jinx wasn’t usually the cuddling type, but Ivy liked to spoon sometimes. She grunted and tried to wiggle free.
Was Ivy groping her boob? Okay, that might require a conversation about personal space. And seriously when had Ivy become close to two tons? She opened her eyes and immediately slammed them shut. Too bright.
Not good.
So not good.
Just how much had she guzzled last night? And her mouth tasted like death. Thank God it was Sunday. Obviously, she didn’t know how to handle Vegas.
A groan dented her personal flogging. Not a girl groan.
“Oh, fuck.”
No. No. No.
She squeezed her eyes shut so tightly that sparklers started going off behind her eyelids. She didn’t. She wouldn’t.
Flashes of bodies grinding in a dark room tightened her throat.
You can do it. Open your eyes. Big girl panties, goddammit.
Was she wearing panties? She wiggled her legs.
Sweet peaches, she so wasn’t.
Chloe forced herself to open her eyes and look down. Definitely not the shirt she’d been wearing last night. Was that Dave Grohl? Why had her boobs had grown at least two sizes?
Because a male hand was cupping each of them like she was his own personal rock wall.
She suppressed another moan when the man’s hands tightened. His thumb flicked over her nipple and it responded instantly.
“Oh God.”
He groaned and pushed up her shirt. “Round two?” he asked in a fuzzy mumble.
“Round none!” She kicked out and connected with something before she scrambled up against the headboard.
“Fuck me.” The man curled into a fetal position.
Dark hair and naked shoulders. Was that a tattoo? Was he naked under the sheet?
She didn’t wait to find out. She leaped off the bed. Not her hotel room. This one was bigger with only one bed. A lake-sized mattress with tangled white sheets.
She was going to be sick. She lunged for the bathroom, slamming the door and locking it before she skidded in front of the toilet. Her stomach revolted until there was nothing but dry heaves shuddering through her.
“Are you all right?”
No, she wasn’t all right. She’d awakened in a strange hotel room with a strange man. She gripped the edge of the bowl, frowning as something clicked against the porcelain.
She pulled shaking fingers away and flushed, then stumbled to the sink.
Her eyes were bloodshot, her pupils absolutely huge. Blindly, she fumbled with the faucet, causing another clink of metal against metal. She stuck her head under the spray to rinse away the sick.
She needed eight toothbrushes and a magic eraser for her brain.
Actually, not so much on the erasing because she couldn’t remember a damn thing.
How had she ended up here?
Why couldn’t she remember?
Where the hell was her phone?
Auto-pilot kicked in as she pumped soap on her hands. Metal clicked against metal. She still had on Snake’s ring. She couldn’t seem to take it off, but she’d moved it to her right hand.
That was only one hand.
Something flashed on her left hand.
On her ring finger.

About the Author Black and rose

USA Today bestselling author Cari Quinn likes music and men, so she figured why not write about both? When she’s not writing, she’s screaming at men’s college basketball games on TV, playing her music too loud or causing trouble. Sometimes simultaneously.

USA Today bestselling author Taryn Elliott is obsessed with rock stars, men, and her unending playlists–maximizing these things seemed like a very good idea. When she’s not writing, she’s losing hours to hot men on TV, and/or a graphic design project. Multitasking is her middle name.

They decided to combine forces and found that hey…this writing deal is even more awesome when you collaborate with your best friend.

And so Lost in Oblivion was born.
