REVIEW:PROPERTY OF CRYPT KEEPER is the second instalment in Kristine Allen’s contemporary, adult KINGS OF ANARCHY MC: LOUISIANA dark, erotic, paranormal, MC romance series, part of the multi-authored Kings of Anarchy MC series. This is Sergeant at Arms Rougarou Gideon Dallas “Crypt Keeper” Bourque, and Katalina Kingston’s story line. PROPERTY OF CRYPT KEEPER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there maybe triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Crypt Keeper and Katalina) CRYPT KEEPER focuses on Katalina Kingston’s need for revenge. Trained to kill, Katalina goes in search of a murderous werewolf, killing anyone and all werewolves who stand in her way but all is not as it appears to be, Katalina has been manipulated, and her latest target Gideon ‘Crypt Keeper’ Bourque, calls to her soul. Katalina is not fully human, and in this, someone else is directing our heroine, in a life and death situation, kill or be killed, and Crypt Keeper is her next target.

The world building focuses on the search for the truth. The reality goes much deeper, the betrayal is beyond anything they could have imagined but when a small child is droppe off with the KOAMC, Gideon begins to suspect a darker and more dangerous predator is on the hunt.

The relationship between Katalina and Crypt Keeper begins a jailer and prisoner. Gideon aka Crypt Keeper doesn’t trust our story line heroine. Katalina was sent to take down our story line hero but fate had other plans including a bond that could kill them both. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, determined and supernatural secondary and supporting characters including all of the members of the KOAMC: Louisiana-demons, vampires, werewolves and fae,-Mako, Zeus, Bronx, Spook, Dexter, Hack, Boomslang, as well as Zara, and Katalina’s mentor and trainer Rafael.

PROPERTY OF CRYPT KEEPER is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, madness and obsession, magic and mayhem, family and friendships. The character driven premise is intriguing, dramatic and dark; the romance is limited but fated; the characters are desperate and dynamic.

💚☠️Blade (RBMC: Dallas TX 4) by Kristine Allen-review💚☠️

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N / KOBO / Chapters Indigo /

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 31, 2024

Blade

I’m Finley, but no one has called me that in a long time. My brothers know me as Blade and that suits me fine. When they need the really dirty work done, they call me in. There’s a darkness in me that has no issue inflicting pain. Sometimes I think I crave it.

Despite my brothers falling like flies, I certainly don’t believe in love or relationships—at least not for me. Everyone believed I moved to Texas to watch over Sage, the truth was I was running. I ran from something that terrified me more than staring down the barrel of a gun.

Eliska.

She’d been through hell and she deserved better than me. I couldn’t give her what she wanted so I left. Except she just showed up in Texas with storm cloud eyes full of determination. Danger is looming. Death and destruction are closing in. Things with the club are about to turn upside down and we’re going to make some dangerous enemies. The last thing I need are distractions in the form of a golden-haired goddess.

I will only hurt her—break her. Yet, I’ll cave if I can’t get her to leave. I’ll claim her as mine and that will likely destroy us both.

•••••

REVIEW:BLADE by Kristine Allen is the fourth instalment in Kristine Allen’s contemporary, adult RBMC: DALLAS TX dark, erotic, paranormal romance series, set in the multi-authored RBMC world. This is Finley aka Blade, and Eliska’s story line. BLADE can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading books one and two TAMING RAPTOR and RAPTOR’S REVENGE.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Blade and Eliska) following several timelines BLADE focuses on the return of the woman Blade left behind. Blade doesn’t do relationships , and believing he had failed the woman he loves as a sister (Sage), the return of Eliska places a target on the RBMC: Dallas but all is not well in the world of the RBMC, and with several chapters targeted and all but decimated, the Dallas chapter find themselves at a crossroads when the survivors announce a change in direction for the future.

The world building focuses on betrayal and loss as the remaining RBMC members must come to terms with a possible betrayal, and their future going forward. As the death and destruction destroy the numerous chapters of the RBMC, a new focus and a new future may be the only option remaining.

The relationship between Blade and Eliska is one of second chances but Blade believes he doesn’t deserve love; punishment is his way of proving he is alive, with an ability to feel but when the woman he loves is targeted, Blade must come to terms with his heritage, and the secrets that will be revealed. The $ex scenes are intimate yet aggressive.

There is a large ensemble cast of familiar and dynamic secondary and supporting many of whom we have met in the interconnected world of the RBMC including Raptor and Sage (Taming Raptor / Raptor’s Revenge), and characters from RBMC: Ankeny.

BLADE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, acceptance and forgiveness, and the supernatural. The fast paced premise is dramatic, captivating, and dark; the romance is impassioned; the characters are broken yet determined.

_____

LAST CHANCE AT LOVE by DM Earl

Not believing in such a thing as good luck since his life has always sucked, Slick takes one more chance at love. The one thing that’s holding him back from being one hundred percent in, is his past, especially his dark part in it. To clear the road to redemption you have to want to face your demons. And Slick has plenty he doesn’t want to introduce Lucy or Atlas in regard to his past life though if he wants a future with them both it’s definitely time to suck it up and make amends

••••••

REVIEW: LAST CHANCE AT LOVE by DM Earl is a novella set in the author’s GRIMM WOLVES MC series, and a part of the multi-authored anthology BIKER IN MY BED. This is Slick aka Cletus Jennings, and stripper/housecleaner / single mother Lucy’s aka Cashmere story line. Cletus Jennings first appeared in TAZ, book three of the DEVIL’S HANDMAIDENS MC series.

NOTE: If you have not read TAZ, there may be spoilers in my review.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Cletus and Lucy) LAST CHANCE AT LOVE focuses on Cletus aka Slick’s need to apologize for sins of the past involving his ex Raquel ‘Taz’ Smith and the Devil’s Handmaidens MC. As a former member of a white-supremacist group Cletus Jennings destroyed many lives including the life of the woman he once loved but in an effort to prove he is a changed man, and worthy of Lucy’s love, Cletus offers up some information, that will likely put a target on his back. Apologies for the damaged he caused threatens to break his tenuous hold on the who holds his heart.

The world building reveals a little bit about the past including some of the events that would set Cletus towards a different path. For a better understanding, I recommend reading TAZ (Devil’s Handmaidens MC) as the premise of LAST CHANCE AT LOVE are predicated upon the events of TAZ.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Grimm Wolves MC, and cameos from Enforcer and Taz.

LAST CHANCE AT LOVE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, acceptance and forgiveness, understanding and love. The fast paced premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance struggles in the face of reality and the truth; the characters are broken but struggling to heal.
